Product Description

A decorative pair of Japanese cloisonné vases with copper bodies, richly enamelled in deep blue with finely detailed floral and bird panels, scrolling foliage, and geometric borders. The vases are well balanced with slender necks and vibrant enamel decoration, making them attractive statement pieces for display.

One vase shows a dent to the neck, and there is minor enamel wear and small losses, all of which are visible in the photographs. Please refer to the images for full details of condition and general age-related wear.
Origin: Japan, circa 1900
