A refined pair of cut crystal bowls presented in their original fitted Finnigans Ltd case, a respected British retailer and silversmith with premises at New Bond Street, London, and in Manchester and Liverpool.
Each bowl is of square form with scalloped edges and features intricate starburst and diamond cut patterns, finely executed to create excellent clarity and light reflection. The quality of the cutting and the inclusion of the original presentation case suggest these were retailed as a gift set, likely mid 20th century.
The original case, lined in cream satin and velvet, bears the gilt Finnigans mark and adds significant charm and collectability, making the set ideal for display, gifting, or use as elegant serving dishes or trinket bowls.
