A highly decorative and finely executed mid-century art glass bowl, attributed to the Murano tradition, displaying an elegant freeform silhouette with beautifully drawn, organic lines.
The piece features a sophisticated interplay of colour, with deep cobalt blue merging seamlessly into warm amber tones over a clear ground. Subtle controlled bubble inclusions enhance the visual depth, catching the light and adding movement throughout the form. The gently flared, asymmetric rim gives the bowl a sculptural quality, making it as much an art object as a functional piece.
Well proportioned and of impressive scale, it works superbly as a centrepiece on a coffee table, console, or dining setting. The quality of the glass and the fluidity of the shaping are indicative of Murano or Murano influenced studio production from the mid to late 20th century.
